Motor and opener problems we fix
- Motor hums or clicks but the door doesn't move
- Door starts, stops or reverses partway
- Remote or keypad has stopped working
- Safety beams flashing or misaligned
- Opener is loud, slow or struggling to lift
- Door won't open during a power outage
Remotes, keypads & programming
We supply and program replacement and extra remotes, wall buttons and wireless keypads. If you've moved into a new home in Manly, we can also clear old codes so previous remotes no longer work — an easy security win.
New garage door openers
If your motor is old, noisy or parts are no longer available, we'll recommend a suitable replacement for your door's size and weight. Popular upgrades include:
- Battery back-up so you can still get in and out during a blackout
- Smartphone control to open, close and check your door from anywhere
- Safety beams that stop and reverse the door if something is in the way
- Quiet belt drives — ideal when the garage is under a bedroom

Frequently asked questions
Why does my garage door remote not work?
Common causes are a flat battery, a lost code, interference or a faulty receiver. We can test, re-code or replace the remote or receiver.
Can you add smartphone control to my existing opener?
Many modern openers can be fitted with a Wi-Fi or smart module. We'll check compatibility with your model.
How do I open my garage door in a power outage?
Pull the manual release cord (usually red) to disconnect the motor, then lift the door by hand. If the door is very heavy, stop and call us — a spring may be broken.
